Procurement Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Rouse Consulting Group, Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of procurement, including vendor relationships, inventory procurement, and management, as well as overseeing shipping and receiving operations. A key part of this role involves analyzing hardware needs to support our services effectively. Please note this is an onsite position in our Moline, IL office.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Manage the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of inventory.
  • Oversee inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and forecasting future hardware needs.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods.
  • Analyze hardware requirements to support our MSP services, making recommendations for procurement.
  • Work closely with other departments to understand and fulfill their hardware and supply needs.
  • If applicable, manage and maintain records in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and vendor relations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to forecast hardware needs accurately.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a bonus for experience in QuickBooks or other accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
