Client Network Analyst| Full-Time | Immediate Opening

Salary commensurate to experience. Rouse Consulting Group, Inc. (RCG), a local, service-based, IT consulting firm and Managed Service Provider, is currently seeking a full time Client Network Analyst to work as a key member of its professional services team.

The Client Network Analyst (CNA) is an integral part of the Rouse Consulting Group team, responsible for strategically building and maintaining relationships with our clients through technical partnership and planning to align with their evolving business goals. Proactive technical reviews of best practices alignment are key CNA engagements with customers. An effective CNA is critical to the ongoing success of our clients resulting in less downtime for them and increased productivity.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with clients through continual infrastructure analysis to detect technical risks and be adept in discussing optimal technology configurations to support their business practices.
  • Schedule and conduct periodic onsite visits at client locations to include technology environment analysis and lead technical review meetings with customer teams.
  • Work closely with the RCG Client Technology Portfolio Manager and Project Manager to make recommendations for remediation of client standards misalignment, including transference of knowledge to the project team.
  • Ensure technical configuration is fully documented for all clients.
  • Assist with maintaining the RCG best practice standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Certification including Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or higher is preferred.
  • 2+ years of system administration experience required.
  • Extensive knowledge of current Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of current technological developments and/or trends.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-v, VMWare, etc.).
  • Experience with switching and firewalls.
  • Experience with Microsoft server-related technologies: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, etc.
  • Experience with administration of Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint).
  • Motivation to be a self-organized, self-starter, and team player that can effectively work with other IT teams and users to define needs, coordinate integration, and provide training, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to investigate and analyze information, draw conclusions, and solve problems.

Network Engineer | Full-Time | Immediate Opening

Salary commensurate to experience. Rouse Consulting Group, Inc. (RCG), a local, service-based, IT consulting firm and Managed Service Provider, is currently seeking a full time Network Engineer to work as a key member of its support team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The support of desktops and servers including application connectivity.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions. Determine the best solution based on the issue, details provided by customer, and best practice documents.
  • Work with the customer through the problem-solving process using remote access software. Advising and implementing system enhancements (software and hardware updates).
  • Document and record troubleshooting steps and resolution through a ticketing system.
  • Follow up and update customer on status and resolution.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 plus years of system administration experience required.
  • Extensive knowledge of current Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of current technological developments and/or trends.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-v, VMWare, Etc…) is a plus

Microsoft 365 Support Specialist| Full-Time | Immediate Opening

The Microsoft 365 Support Specialist is an integral part of the Rouse Consulting Group team, responsible for strategically architecting and maintaining our client Microsoft 365 implementations. This is a key role in helping our customers transform their modern workplaces with the latest Microsoft Collaboration offerings, with particular focus on Teams, including Voice. The Microsoft 365 Support Specialist leads the building of tools and processes, best practices, and knowledge bases to streamline the support of client environments. The Specialist also provides general end-user support as needed. Please note, this is not a remote position.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced support on Microsoft 365 Product components (Teams and Teams Voice, Exchange Online, Groups, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Maintain expertise and troubleshooting skills for Microsoft 365 applications across the device and platform spectrum.
  • Engage in developing solution Microsoft 365 proposals for clients that align their business needs with the best practice tools to achieve them.
  • Establish Teams structures to meet client business needs (Teams, channels, etc.).
  • Develop best practices and implementation plans for Teams Voice (network planner, QoS, call queues, auto attendants, calling policies, dial plans, routing policies).
  • Keep a working knowledge of complementary technologies, such as ADFS, Azure Active Directory Connect, and PowerShell.
  • Execute process development and operational improvement initiatives, including automation, to achieve optimal efficiency within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for the core Microsoft 365 suite with particular focus on Teams and Teams Voice.
  • Remain current on changes to existing and research emerging Microsoft 365 applications and features.
  • Provide general client support using remote access software as needed.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Certification including Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or higher is preferred; MS-700 certification is strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of Microsoft 365 administration experience required.
  • Expertise in the configuration and management of enterprise Microsoft 365 tenants.
  • PowerShell skills for administration of automation within the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Possess a sound understanding of Microsoft licensure, including tiers of service.
  • Familiarity with voice and VOIP technologies.
